Pair of large three branch gilded bronze ‘flambeau’ Wall Lights:
the three curved arms with acanthus leaf decoration, issuing from a fluted stem with flaming torch. In the manner of Jean Paul Prieur (Paris, 1770), as illustrated in ‘Vergoldeten Bronzen’, p.172.
This pair, a magnificent copy, made circa 1880.
