Copeland Spode bisque bust of Princess Alexandra of Denmark:
King Edward VII married Alexandra (1844 –1925) when she was seventeen; she was Queen Consort during her husband’s reign from 1901 to 1910. She was an expert horsewoman, enjoyed ice-skating, dancing and was devoted to her six children.
