English cut glass Chandelier with five candle branches:
with petal cutting to the body and stem; the rope-twist branches with scallop-edged candle cups and pans; dressed with graduated festoons of ‘double star’ prisms and pear-shaped pendants.
Circa 1860-80, originally for gas, adapted for electric candles.
