Early 19th Century cut glass six candle branch Chandelier:
with ‘pineapple’ central urn and scallop-edged body bowl; the facet-cut
glass branches, with fine cross- and slice-cut cups and pans, dressed
with festoons of ‘double stars’ and pear shaped pendants.
Circa 1830 and restored.

'double star' prisms

Round cut-glass prisms with star-cuttings on both sides. One of the finest of prisms, generally used on Regency and later chandeliers by Perry & Co.

English 'pear' pendant

Pear-shaped cut-glass pendant with a facetted front and pointed star back.

Georgian

Covers the reigns of the four King Georges of England between 1714 and 1830. Simplicity, harmony, symmetry and airiness were characteristic of the period, which overlaps with Regency. See Adam's style.
