Gilt and glass oval multi-panelled ‘Byzantine Jewel’ Lantern:
with six oval convex glass panels; the gilt frame decorated with stylised foliate motifs; bearing large clear glass cabochons at the top and bottom of the frame; suspended from top corona by three sets of long, knotted tassels.
Circa 1850, restored and fitted with three-way inner chandelier.
