the hexagonal knopped centre column with scallop-edged base, candle cup and pan; with flat diamond and leaf-cutting; dressed with two tiers of tapered ‘Albert’ spear-headed pendants. Circa 1860-80, restored.

Glossary Words
'Albert' pendant
A long cut-glass pendant particularly popular in the Victorian period, hence the homage to Prince Albert. These can be straight or tapered and cut with various designs.
