Pair of Victorian single branch cut glass Wall Lights:
the curved ‘rope-twist’ arm issuing from a silver-plated acanthus leaf backplate with pointed glass finial; the scallop-edged candle-pan dressed with single-star ‘Victorian’ prisms and ‘Albert’ pendants.
Circa 1860 and restored.

'Albert' pendant

A long cut-glass pendant particularly popular in the Victorian period, hence the homage to Prince Albert. These can be straight or tapered and cut with various designs.

'Victorian' prism

English cut-glass prism, named after Queen Victoria, made from 1840 until the present day; with octagonal shape and pointed back.
