English six candle branch cut-glass Chandelier with ball finials:
the cut glass stem bearing six U-shaped candle branches with glass ball finials at the centre, dressed with festoons of graduated ‘Victorian’ prisms and pear-shaped pendants; the top canopy and petal-edged candle pans dressed with spear-headed triangle ‘Albert’ pendants so named after the Prince Consort.
Circa 1870-80, made originally for gas, with hollow branches, now restored and wired with electric candles.
