French hexagonal gilt-bronze and glass Versailles style Hall Lantern:
so named after the original hanging in ‘Escalier du Roi’, Versailles;
the bevelled glass panels with gilt bronze mounts in the form of a
jewel box with foliate studs on each corner; with acanthus leaf and
bud finial below and leafy top crown. Restored.
