with clear glass candle pan and cup bearing a straight-sided glass windshield; the pan, marked Baccarat, dressed with cut glass
prisms and pendants; on a square stepped plinth with star-cut base.

Baccarat
French glass manufacturer founded in 1764 during the reign of Louis XV. Centred in Paris, they made fabulous chandeliers and table glass for royalty, and are still producing high quality glassware today.
