Pair of unusually large Colza Chandeliers converted to shades:
with seven branches bearing clear glass storm shades; with handsome foliate detail in gilt with bronzed dish and well in the form of a three-handled vase; hanging on seven ornamental chains to large top boss with leafy crown.
Probably made by Thomas Messenger, circa 1830-40, the oil burners changed to take candles.
