Gilded bronze five-light ‘Seahorse’ Gasolier with frosted shades:
the branches in the form of flying seahorses; the classical influence seen in the stylised foliage and anthemion decoration. Victorian, circa 1860; note the leafy gas taps, now restored and adapted for electricity; with replacement frosted circular shades.
