Pair of Richardson’s ‘Waterlily’ Goblets designed by Richard Redgrave:
the coned foot part-gilded, with naturalistic flower painted both inside and out; one with indistinct stencilled Initials for ‘Felix Summerly’s Fine Art Manufactures’ and Registration lozenge for 25th October 1847, and ‘R.Regrave.A.R.A’. Circa 1850.
Provenance: One from Chatsworth House, October 2010.
Photos also show related Water Jug ref.6814 with registration lozenge mark on base for 13th June 1848.
