Versailles style gilded bronze Lantern:
so named after the original hanging in ‘Escalier du Roi’, Versailles; with gilt bronze mounts in the form of a jewel box with foliate studs on each corner and bevelled glass panels; with scrolling struts to ‘leaf-and-bud’ finial.
Circa 1910, restored and rewired.
